The actress, who was once the cover model for Vogue magazine, lives today at Beverly Hills along with Samantha and Olivia. Ann Turkel's ex-husband Richard Harris has passed away after just eight years of marriage and 20 years divorce. Turkel was born in an ethnically Jewish family and was raised by her mother in Manhattan. By 16 years old, she was studying under Sanford Meisner and Philip Burton Both at the Neighborhood playhouse, as well as at the American Musical and Dramatic Academy. The moment she performed with her group at a fashion show when Ann was found by Gloria Schiff an editor at Vogue Magazine. Within a matter of a few days the editor-in-chief Diana Vreeland commissioned Ann to shoot the first Vogue Cover together with photographer Richard Avedon. Ann went onto become one of most coveted models of all time, with her covers appearing in the top fashion magazines Vogue Bazaar and Cosmopolitan. Ann was a successful model for various cosmetic companies including Max Factor Revlon, Chanel and Europe in Europe following two years.
