Mena and Missy

Mena Alexandra suvari, born February 13, 1979 in America, is an actor as well as a fashion designer and model. After a brief period as a model in the fashion industry, she quickly transitioned to acting, appearing as guest actors on television shows such as Boy Meets World in the 1990s, and High Incident. Her first film appearance was on 1997's drama Nowhere. Her transition into major roles with her performances in American Beauty for which she received nominations for the BAFTA Award and American Pie both of which earned more attention. She's appeared alongside the co-star of American Pie Jason Biggs in Loser (2000) as well as the role of lead in Sugar & Spice (2001). Spun, an independent drama that aired in 2002, and the action film Trauma (2004) are her two most recent appearances. The actress was a part of HBO's drama series Six Feet Under. In 2004 she received an award for an Outstanding Cast member in the Screen Actors Guild Awards. Suvari was also featured in the film version of Day of Dead and The Mysteries of Pittsburgh and in the film version of The Garden of Eden. Suvari is the modeling model for Lancome cosmetics and also print advertisements for Lancome Paris Adaptive and has been featured in a variety of magazines and fashion blogs such as Vogue. Suvari has been a long-time advocate and supporter to the African Medical and Research Foundation. She also is active on women's empowerment issues and is associated with groups that promote awareness of breast cancer and the End Violence Against Women Campaign. She is most well-known for her part in television shows including Dark Angel Heroes the Chris Isaak Show Black Sash Reaper or Rookie Blue. She has appeared in high-profile items including Mercedes-Benz Sprint Canada or the Olympics. Missy has starred in The Stick It Backcountry Movie as well as in Something Red and Wide Awake. She did a great job on all of them, and was an actress of the caliber she is. Missy has a huge heart. She spends her free time participating in various philanthropic causes. The organization she is a part of is an organization that is non-political and dedicated to supplying affordable and safe foot-wear for societies inside South America.
