Donald Joseph Qualls also known as DJ Qualls in America is an American actor and producer. Alongside the Road Trip role, he was also a part of The New Guy Hustle & Flow and The Core. Also, he has been on over 22 television shows such as Breaking Bad Supernatural and Scrubs. As a survivor of Hodgkin's Lymphoma that he was diagnosed when he was 14 years old. Qualls is an avid fighter. In two years the cancer is now into Remission. The early treatment had severe effects on his health as well as stunted development. The financial security was his first objective once he began since he'd experienced hardship throughout his life. He commented, "I've been living so in a state of financial sanity for so long and I'm desperate for to have financial security, otherwise my life is going to feel chaotic to me." He thinks back to his youth and feels an urge to do something against bullying. It breaks my heart when I hear what DJ claims. He says that his ideal job would be that of a dad in both reality and in film. He does however admit that directors don't usually cast him for those types of jobs. For the foreseeable future, he is hoping to become a father for children.
